Wrinkles are the number one concern with our clientele. Wrinkles occur as part of the aging process and are often noticed in the frown line, around the eyes and forehead. Our cosmetic nurses are able to conduct a complimentary consultation to discuss your concerns with wrinkles in our Geelong clinic. Our cosmetic nurses will develop and execute a treatment plan based on your medical history, concerns and goals. Treatments can  involve the administration of a medication containing Botulinum toxin that targets specific facial muscles to promote relaxation. Due to TGA restrictions we are not permitted to advertise names of medications we use at Tox Bar, however this is discussed during our consultation process.

The most commonly treated areas at Tox Bar include lines around the eyes, forehead creases, and frown. At Tox Bar our nurses are experienced in conducting comprehensive consultations and treatment plans to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Additionally, other cosmetic procedures available at Tox Bar can address lines in neck bands, jaw clenching (Bruxism) elevate eyebrows, and reduce excessive sweating (Hyperhydrosis).

What to expect during a consultation with our cosmetic nurses?

At Tox Bar our experienced nurses will take you through an initial consultation to discuss your concerns about wrinkles,  this includes collecting a thorough medical history to ensure suitability for treatment. Treatment options are discussed in partnership and if applicable a prescription is obtained from our Nurse Practitioner. Consultations to reduce the appearance of wrinkles at Tox Bar also include time for treatment on the day.

A procedure involving injections of medication into the forehead, frown or crows feet area will take approximately 30 minutes inclusive of the consultation.

Patients undergoing treatment on the day typically experience minimal discomfort and require no downtime post-procedure. We recommend refraining from strenuous activities and touching treated areas for four hours afterward to optimize results. Thorough aftercare is discussed during your consultation with one of our nurses.

During your consultation your nurse will discuss pricing for the treatments that you require based on the amount of medication required or the treatment selected.
